Return transport

1st Dolomites-Tuscany Rally
Following on from our previous rallies in Iceland, the Algarve, Andalusia, Greece, Croatia, and Slovenia, we have once again taken great pleasure in exploring some of Italy’s most beautiful roads to offer you a rally between two iconic and distinct regions: the Dolomites and Tuscany.
ACCESS
The starting point will be Lake Garda, located in Northern Italy between Milan, Brescia, and Verona. No visa is required, and customs formalities for vehicles are simplified.
You can easily reach it by car from France, Switzerland, or Austria.
We offer optional transport solutions for your car in an enclosed truck departing from Brussels (B), Düsseldorf (D), Munich (D), Luxembourg (L), Geneva (CH), Milan (I), Barcelona (E), Calais (F), Paris (F), Lyon (F), Marseille (F), Nice/Monaco (F), Bordeaux (F), Tours (F), Niort (F), Rouen (F), Strasbourg (F), Dijon (F), Le Havre (F), Lille (F), Toulouse (F), La Rochelle (F), Rennes (F), or Toulon (F). Departure from another city is always possible; please don’t hesitate to ask.
Arrival is scheduled in Florence. Take this opportunity to extend your stay and explore the Tuscan capital in more detail, a city particularly rich in historical heritage. For those who prefer to return by plane, we also offer return transport.
CLIMATE
Mid-September is probably the best time to explore the Dolomites and Tuscany. The days are mild, the sun sets late, and the summer tourist crowds have disappeared.
WELCOME
Local enthusiasm for cars is real and that’s great to see!
ROAD NETWORK
The roads are very wide, not very busy at this time of year, 100% paved, in excellent condition, with varied terrain and profiles suitable for driving.
HOSPITALITY
The hotels selected for the rally are of a very high standard, all five-star, among the most renowned in Italy.
The Hotel A-Rosa offers panoramic views of Lake Garda, the Grand Hotel Ampezzo was recently inaugurated for the Olympic Games, and the Grand Hotel Thermal d’Abano boasts a unique style. In Rimini, the Grand Hotel is perfectly situated on the beach, and in Florence, Villa La Massa is one of Tuscany’s iconic landmarks.
GASTRONOMY
What can be said about Italian gastronomy, especially in these regions rich in specialties and exceptional products, starting with Chianti wine!
MECHANICAL ASSISTANCE
On-site, our regular team of mechanics will provide assistance, and in the event of an irreparable breakdown, your vehicle will be loaded onto one of our trucks and transported back to its starting city.
The Dolomites Tuscany Rally is open to classic cars from 1950 onwards, with a GT Rally category for contemporary sports models.
The best places to visit during the rally
LAC DE GARDE
A jewel of northern Italy, Lake Garda captivates with its deep blue waters bordered by elegant villages and majestic mountains. Between its gentle Mediterranean climate, olive groves, and Alpine panoramas, it offers a perfect balance between nature and the art of living. The A-ROSA Hotel, where the rally welcome will be held, is ideally located on its shores, near the picturesque port of Salò.
STELVIO PASS
Crossing the Stelvio Pass at 2,757 meters altitude in a sports car is like dancing with the asphalt to the rhythm of its legendary hairpin bends. Each turn releases a surge of adrenaline, fueled by the roar of the engine and the pure mountain air. It’s an essential experience, a must-do, a legend for car enthusiasts.
SIENES CREST ROAD
Among the most beautiful routes in Tuscany, between Siena and the Chianti region, the SP 438 winds through rolling gray clay hills, eroded ravines, and solitary cypress trees in an almost lunar landscape. Every kilometer of this scenic road offers a succession of picture-perfect views…
VILLA LA MASSA
A luxury five-star hotel located in the Tuscan countryside east of Florence, Italy. This exceptional property occupies a former 13th-century aristocratic villa, surrounded by 25 hectares of gardens on the banks of the Arno River, offering a peaceful and refined atmosphere while remaining only about 8 km from the historic center of Florence. The rally will stay here for two nights. And it will be exclusively reserved for the occasion.
12 850 €
Impeccable behavior on the road will be required of participants.
The roads are open to traffic, so the Highway Code must be strictly observed, and participants’ behavior towards other road users and participants must be exemplary. Those who do not come with this mindset are not welcome and risk being excluded from this event reserved for enthusiasts.
Regulations
ELIGIBLE VEHICLES
Six stages are on the program, representing 1,690 km of rally routes, on 100% paved roads.
Competitors must follow the route outlined in the road book, without any speed or average speed restrictions. To do so, they have their timesheet stamped at the various Checkpoints (CP), the locations of which are kept secret. We remind you that as the event takes place on open, unrestricted roads, participants must strictly adhere to the Highway Code. Information on safety instructions is included in the road book provided to participants.

Teams of professional mechanics and support vehicles are available to assist participants throughout the route and at each stage. Most breakdowns are repaired by our mechanics. We recommend carrying a small kit of spare parts in your vehicle, such as belts, spark plugs, brake pads, and a fuel pump; they may prove very useful. Finally, check with your insurance company to ensure your policy includes towing assistance (which is usually the case) in the event of a breakdown that cannot be repaired by our teams.

In the event of a breakdown that cannot be repaired on site, your car will be loaded onto one of the organization’s trucks and transported back to its initial loading point in Europe if you selected the Transport option.
LUGGAGE TRUCK
Participants who wish to do so may entrust their luggage to the Organization, which will transport them from hotel to hotel.

TOWARDS CARBON-NEUTRAL EVENTS
For several years, we have been working to reduce the environmental footprint of our events. We are proud to announce that after measuring our carbon footprint with ECOACT, implementing a policy to reduce our emissions, and contributing to the financing of carbon offset projects equivalent to our emissions, RALLYSTORY has helped achieve carbon neutrality for its rallies. This is a first, albeit still imperfect, step towards our goal of Net Zero emissions.
