37e COUPE DES ALPES

LEGEND – For over 30 years, the Coupe des Alpes has been the unmissable event for major historic motorsport events.
The quality of the field, the beauty of the landscapes traversed, and the enthusiasm of the organizing team make it one of the most renowned rallies in Europe, with around one hundred participants at the start, some fifteen nationalities represented, twenty-five brands, and around sixty different car models.

PASSION – These three days of pure pleasure offer owners of classic sports cars, up to 1996, a unique opportunity to traverse the magnificent landscapes of the Alpine massif as the mountain passes of the great Alpine road open, freshly cleared of snow.

PEAKS AND NEW FEATURES – The route will feature… to the greatest mountain passes in the Alps, following in the footsteps of legendary routes of yesteryear. For this new edition, several major new features are on the program: a stage in Serre-Chevalier on the second day, passes never before used, such as the Petit Saint-Bernard, and a completely new finish in Courmayeur, Italy, as close as possible to Mont Blanc. From the very first kilometers, the climb to the Col de Joux Plane will offer one of the most beautiful views of the highest peak in Europe. The Cormet de Roselend and its high-altitude lake, as well as the Col du Galibier and the Col de l’Iseran, both reaching altitudes of over 2,500 meters, will be highlights of the 2026 route.

PRESTIGE – Historically starting from ÉVIAN-LES-BAINS, on the shores of Lake Geneva, the rally stops, at the end of the first day, in the prestigious Savoyard village of MEGEVE.
The following day, after the traditional “English-style” picnic, we will stay in the Southern Alps, in Serre-Chevalier, ideally located to tackle the Col de Montgenèvre and the Col du Mont-Cenis, which connects Italy to France. For the first time in 37 editions, Courmayeur will host the rally finish, with a spectacular finale at the Skyway Monte Bianco cable car’s intermediate station, which will be closed to the public for an unforgettable evening.

CONVIVIALITY – Professionalism of the organization and availability of the support teams, quality of accommodation and meals, luggage service, mechanical assistance and towing are constant requirements for RALLYSTORY. This 37th edition of the COUPE DES ALPES will be no exception, with the same commitment to offering you a great moment of conviviality and passion for motorsport.

MERCEDES-BENZ IN THE SPOTLIGHT
This year, after celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Porsche 356 in 2023, we return to Stuttgart to celebrate the centenary of Mercedes-Benz,
founded on June 28, 1926, from the merger of Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft and Benz & Cie. We are delighted to welcome all of the manufacturer’s historic models, as well as those produced up to 1996, with special emphasis placed on them during the various highlights of the 2026 rally.

The best places to visit during the rally

/// OFFICIAL START IN EVIAN
In June 2026, the town of Evian will host the G7 summit and the start of the Coupe des Alpes. The starting point for the Alps rally on the shores of Lake Geneva, this spa town has a long history with rallying, having hosted Coupe des Alpes starts there in the 1960s.
Consider staying there before the start to fully enjoy the car exhibition, the thermal baths, and the renowned golf courses.

/// ISERAN PASS
The highest mountain pass in Europe, the Col de l’Iseran reaches an altitude of 2,764 m. It connects the Maurienne and Tarentaise valleys, with the Val d’Isère resort on one side and the picturesque village of Bonneval-sur-Arc on the other. The road was inaugurated in 1937 after eight years of construction.

/// ARRIVAL AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO MONT BLANC
A completely new finish awaits participants in this 37th edition of Coupe des Alpes. The elegant resort of Courmayeur (located at the exit of the Mont Blanc tunnel on the Italian side) and its five-star hotels will welcome the teams for a grand finale. The cable car, which takes passengers as close as possible to Mont Blanc, will be privatized at sunset, and the awards ceremony will take place at the intermediate level for an unforgettable finale.

Compliance of the Highway Code is the responsibility of the participants. The organizers will not conduct any technical, insurance, or administrative checks on vehicles or participants’ driving skills.
No changes to registered participant vehicles are permitted without prior authorization from RALLYSTORY.

STEPS ON THE ROAD

Three stages over three days are on the program, covering approximately 650 km of rally routes. Participants must follow the route outlined in the road book, without any speed or average speed restrictions. To do so, they must have their timesheet stamped at the various Checkpoints (CPs), the locations of which are kept secret. We remind you that as the event takes place on open, unrestricted roads, participants must strictly adhere to the Highway Code. Safety instructions are included in the road book provided to participants.

AWARD CEREMONY

The Alpine Cup does not include a ranking. The awards ceremony is intended to be friendly and based on non-competitive criteria. As in the past, all participants who are not penalized at the end of the rally are awarded the Coupe des Alpes.

At no point does any notion of speed, average speed, or time allowed on the road factor into the ranking. Since the Alpine Cup is a friendly affair, no complaints will be accepted.

MECHANICAL ASSISTANCE

Teams of professional mechanics and support vehicles are available to assist participants throughout the route and at each stage. Most breakdowns are repaired by our mechanics. We recommend carrying a small kit of spare parts in your vehicle, such as belts, spark plugs, brake pads, and a fuel pump; they may prove very useful. Finally, check with your insurer that your policy includes towing assistance (which is usually the case) in the event of a breakdown that cannot be repaired by our teams.

LUGGAGE TRUCK

For their comfort, participants who wish to do so can entrust their luggage to the organizers, who will transport it from the departure point in Evian to the hotel on Thursday and from hotel to hotel on the following days. Luggage is delivered to and collected at the reception of each hotel. Don’t forget to attach the tags provided by the organizers.

PARK GUARDING

From Wednesday evening to Sunday morning, the parks are guarded throughout the night by professional security teams.

TOWARDS CARBON-NEUTRAL EVENTS

For several years, we have been working to reduce the environmental footprint of our events. We are proud to announce that after measuring our carbon footprint with ECOACT, implementing a policy to reduce our emissions, and contributing to the financing of carbon offset projects equivalent to our emissions, RALLYSTORY has helped achieve carbon neutrality for its rallies. This is a first, albeit still imperfect, step towards our goal of Net Zero emissions.
